2012 Next Movie Star winner, Halimat Aitsagame

Halimat Aitsegame, the winner of 2012 Next Movie Star Reality TV Show, has taken the delivery of her star prize, a brand new Hyundai IX35 and cash price of N200,000.

The Theatre Arts graduate of the University of Ibadan was rewarded alongside the first runner up, Bridget Chigbufue, Babtunde Samuel and Olajoju Muse.

Bridget smiled away with N200,000 and a 42” plasma TV, while Babatunde Samuel and Olajoju Muse walked away with N100,000, a 22” TV and N100,000 respectively.

Created in 2005 by Sola Fajobi owned Digital Interactive Media, The Next Movie Star Reality TV Show has literary become the platform for young talents to learn and horn their skills in TV presentation and acting.

A program aimed at discovering movie talents which in turn provides both Nigerian and African movie industry with very creative actors and actresses, some of the success stories include Tonto Dike, Annie Macauley, Kevin Chuwang Pam, Porttia Yamahan, Uti Nwachukwu, Lydia Forson, Karen Igho, Tamara Eteimo, Tomiwa Kukoyi, Halimat Ai Sagame, Boma Mac Ake and Zerziyia Wilson amongst others.

Already preparations are in top gear for the 2013 edition of the reality TV show with the theme, The Next Movie Star 2013 Africa Reloaded.

With a promises to engage its audience across the African continent and take them to a whole new level of entertainment & Reality Show experiences with the best & most outstanding talents, organizers say it’s a new deal.
