Juliet Ibrahim gets honours

Ghanaian actress, Juliet Ibrahim and Houston based Movie writer and producer, Susan Nwokedi have been chosen for honours on Saturday, May 4, 2013, at the Jupiter Gardens Event Center, 11325 Pegasus Street, Dallas by Trendy Africa Magazine.

The honour which is coming as a result of one of the magazine’s unique concept,Trendy Africa Magazine Mothers Appreciation Event (TAMMAE),is a befitting forum which is organized every year by the Magazine in the spirit of giving, celebrating mothers and community service.

Other honorees include City of Dallas Africa Liaison officer, Regina Onyeibe and Washington DC based fashion designer Afua Sam.

The honorees are selected based on known community service, outstanding achievements in a chosen career and those who have shown remarkable resilience through challenges. The 2013 edition will honor about eight selected Women in the community and would feature live performances including a specially written song in honor of the awardees. Other attractions include; Comedy, Fashion, Dance and the special inauguration of; “Trends in Movies and Music”; a seminar series conceptualized to enhance the fast evolving entertainment industry in Africa.

Attendance is expected from the multi ethnic and diverse Dallas Fort Worth community and beyond.
